A restless sleep filled with dreams of escape and an extraordinary amount of snogging of someone who is not my husband, someone redheaded and dear.  Can't afford a plane ticket out of here. I'm going back to bed.

Life just keeps getting better and better.

And that's about as much as I can stand of talking about life lately.

Let's see. The past week has included being the victim of identity theft, apparently by an employee of a restaurant we frequented about a month ago, and both Paul's and my vehicles being ransacked---but as Paul only has PL&PD on his, and mine was unlocked there won't be any insurance coverage for the losses which amount to a good couple hundred ( Read more... )

Yes, I know I've been home  a week, and I'm just now getting around to posting. My life is a rubber room, and I've been busy bouncing off the walls---lots of motion, but not getting much of anywhere.

Damn. I'm screwed.

 Our accountant needs to be fired. Our secretary needs to be fired, too. The management will neither fire the accountant and secretary, nor accept their resignations.

I think Paul is trying to come up with a new normal for himself, too, with mixed results. He's doing okay about feeding himself (and even feeding me), and being a bit more domestic. Actually, he's always been pretty helpful with the domestic things.  He doesn't seem to be handling the spending more time solo part so well, though. Don't get me wrong ( Read more... )
